Turn off (or on) Live Google Search here:

1. Chrome Settings (far upper right - looks like 3 parallel horizontal lines)
2. Settings
3. Scroll down and select "Show advanced settings"

How to report "Google Search" Problems

Here's where you can report issues with Google Search. I especially like the choices, "The results included spam" and "The results included a page that was irrelevant").
