Set up GoDaddy Email on your iPhone

Followed the POP setting instructions below and it worked perfectly (for both sending and receiving emails). Saving these instructions here for safe-keeping, and easy access.


If you follow the steps below, and you can't receive or send email, please see iPhone: Troubleshooting Email for help.
BEFORE YOU START: To set up your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch with your email, you need to know your POP or IMAP Email Server Settings and ports. To find them, go to the InfoCenter and write down the information that displays under Email Server Settings.
NOTE: Disable WiFi before you begin this process.

To Set up Email on Your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. On the Settings screen, tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  3. Tap Add Account.
  4. Tap Other.
  5. Tap Add Mail Account.
  6. Enter your Name, email AddressPassword, and a short Description for your email. Tap Next.
  7. If you have IMAP, tap IMAP. If you're not sure, tap POP.
  8. Use these settings for your Incoming Mail Server, depending on the type of email account you have:
    POP
    Tap POP at the top.
    Host Namepop.secureserver.net
    User NameEnter your full email address.
    PasswordEnter your email account password.
    IMAP
    Tap IMAP at the top.
    Host Nameimap.secureserver.net
    User NameEnter your full email address.
    PasswordEnter your email account password.
  9. Use these settings for your Outgoing Mail Server:
    SMTP (Outgoing Mail Server)
    Host Namesmtpout.secureserver.net
    User NameEnter your full email address.
    PasswordEnter your email account password.
    NOTE: Even though iOS labels these fields as Optional, our email servers require them to send email.
  10. If you have IMAP, tap Next, and then tap Save. Otherwise, just tap Save.
